做个缤纷的水果蛋糕来庆祝春天的到来

原来在米国也有庆祝春分一说呢。Today is the first day of spring。春天的第一天,尽管上午下了超大的雪,但是还是挡不住人们内心的喜悦。服装店的各种discount, free ice-cream store,children’s museum also free for kids。。。各种各样的方式,very very nice。

我也做点什么好了,做个缤纷的水果蛋糕庆祝春天的来临,如何,对于Julia和森森来说,一定是surprise。

原来芦笋应该这样吃

其实芦笋也吃过好多次了,不过总觉得做得有点问题,今天做的这个凉拌芦笋感觉特别对,咸香,清脆,色香味俱全,大人小孩都爱吃。Julia小朋友吃了十几段呢,妈咪们,试试吧。

做法:

1.芦笋去掉根部洗净,切成如图的小段。

2.烧沸水,将芦笋倒进,煮两分钟,期间不停翻搅。

3.乘出,过凉水,沥干水分。

4.食用油烧沸,加入蒜蓉炒香,加入黄豆酱,少许白糖和少许酱油,拌匀,做成sauce。

5.将已经准备好的芦笋倒入,拌匀即可。

Yummy Cake

Today is Saint Patrick’s Day. I promised Julia that I would make a cake to celebrate it on the way to school bus this morning. And she emphasized she didn’t want cheese cake. She wanted the birthday cake kind. I said no problem.

And this was the cake she saw when she got home.

继续做甜品—让每个人都好吃得停不下来的台式红豆年糕!

台湾的点心好吃,我算是见识了。Julia的同学Pei Jen一家来我们家party,Pei Jen妈妈带来了两道甜点,期中的台式炸年糕让我吃得停不下筷子,尽管是高热量高糖分。当天我就要了recipe. 周末去中国店买齐了原材料,今天开工啦。

折腾了大半天,宣告成功手工,森森和Julia都爱吃,自然我也不例外。

炸好的成品图,图片丑了一点,但是味道是真的好。
